"F.A.N.G"? No final do trailer "solta a franga" ainda. :hmm:

Zoning
We're calling it now, F.A.N.G's zoning abilities will be the cause of a ton of broken sticks during SF5's life.
His projectile is a double fireball that flies in an arc through the air. This looks incredibly effective fo controlling airspace, but also has some horizontal control as the fireballs fall back down to the ground.
Combined with his V-Skill, which is a very slow-moving, horizontal projectile, F.A.N.G can control the entire screen.
We imagine we'll be seeing a ton of this specific zoning strategy from F.A.N.G players once the game drops.
Citação:
The Mind Games
Fighting against F.A.N.G, you are going to be poisoned. He has so many ways to inflict it, including simply using his V-Skill as a meaty attack after a knock down. This means that you're going to have to be okay with bleeding out a little bit.
The damage over time (DOT) property looks more like it exists primarily as a mind game than an offensive tool. The bleed out is actually very slow, but the fact that it's happening at all is still going to incite anxiety.
Hitting F.A.N.G stops his DOT effect, so poisoned players are going to naturally feel the need to scramble their way in for a hit as soon as possible. It looks like F.A.N.G's modus operandi is to zone, and so a frantic scramble forward is likely exactly what he wants his foes to do.
The way F.A.N.G is looking currently, it's probably best to never let poison affect your game plan. While he looks a bit slippery, it doesn't seem like F.A.N.G's defense is great. We haven't seen any great reversals, and he can't take a ton of damage.
Moving forward and cautiously selecting your spots is going to be the name of the game most of the time while playing against F.A.N.G.

Weakness
It's natural for people to isolate a brand new character's obvious strengths, but we're also trying to identify F.A.N.G's weaknesses.
As is traditionally the Achilles heel of zoning characters, F.A.N.G doesn't appear to have much in the way of reversals. Opponents are going to have a hard time getting in, but when they do, it may spell the end for the new SF villain.
As opposed to fighting his way out, developers have given him a way to slide away from danger. In the GIF below, Combofiend uses F.A.N.G's slide to attempt to escape Mike's pressure. No telling how strong this move will be, but it may be one of his only options to survive when on defense.
Upon closer inspection, it looks like Combofiend moves forward and attempts to attack after sliding, which would mean the counter hit here was a result of that. Our guess is that this move will be safe, and require a read to punish.
Capcom pegando pesado. Pobre do Cisne com o uso do macro. :sarro:
