The Mind Games
Fighting against F.A.N.G, you are going to be poisoned. He has so many ways to inflict it, including simply using his V-Skill as a meaty attack after a knock down. This means that you're going to have to be okay with bleeding out a little bit.
The damage over time (DOT) property looks more like it exists primarily as a mind game than an offensive tool. The bleed out is actually very slow, but the fact that it's happening at all is still going to incite anxiety.
Hitting F.A.N.G stops his DOT effect, so poisoned players are going to naturally feel the need to scramble their way in for a hit as soon as possible. It looks like F.A.N.G's modus operandi is to zone, and so a frantic scramble forward is likely exactly what he wants his foes to do.
The way F.A.N.G is looking currently, it's probably best to never let poison affect your game plan. While he looks a bit slippery, it doesn't seem like F.A.N.G's defense is great. We haven't seen any great reversals, and he can't take a ton of damage.
Moving forward and cautiously selecting your spots is going to be the name of the game most of the time while playing against F.A.N.G.
